SPECIAL PROGRAMMES HELD DURING THE YEAR 2009-10
- Training Programme in Personal Effectiveness and communication by I Point Consultants Ltd; Mangalore was conducted on 24th and 25th July 2009
- Student Counseling Service is being offered every Friday from 3.30 to 5pm.
- Two days Workshop in Theater and Fine Arts forms was held on 30th and 31st October 2009.
- Yoga Camp was conducted from 29th July 2009 for 15 days.
- Rakshabandhan was celebrated on 5th August 2009. Students visited Govt. Wenlock hospital and tied Rakhies and distributed fruits to the patients in Pediatric ward.
- Sharada Pooja was celebrated on 25-09-09
- Contribution of Rs. 14,014 from students was collected towards relief and rehabitation operations in flood affected areas of North Karnataka.
- Founder’s day was celebrated on 19th Nov – 2009.
- Swami Vivekananda Jayanthi was celebrated on 16th Jan 2010
- Independence Day was celebrated on 15th Aug – 2009 and Republic Day on 26th Jan 2010
- State level Seminar on innovative “Teaching Techniques” was held on 22nd August 2009
- State level Seminar on “Development of Curriculum of B.Com Course” was organized on 26th Sept 2009 by the Dept of Commerce and Management
- Visit of 110 BCA students to Infosys Technologies Ltd. Campus at Mudipu and participated in, a day long seminar on 25th July 2009.
- State level Seminar on Sri. Bhagavatgita – approach towards mind and management was held on 19th and 20th December 2009
- Kalavikas, a University level Seminar for Arts Students was held on 6th Feb 2010.
- A workshop in issues relating to Women Empowerment was held on 5th Feb 2010
- Final year BBM students Visited KMF Dairy.
- Elocution, Essay and Drawing Competitions was held on 25thJan 2010 to commemorate 500th year coronation of King Krishnadevaraya of Vijaya Nagar empire
- Our college is participating college for MOU for Industry – Academic linkage signed with Karnataka Small Industries Association on 17th Feb 2010 at A.J Institute of Management, Mangalore
Socio-Cultural Research & Study Centre completed 3 certificate courses.
- Certificate Course in Mass Communication & Journalism
- Certificate Course in Food & Nutrition.
- Certificate Course in Communicative English.
- SCRC conducted in association with Dharma-Samanvya ,one day University level work-shop on Sept 23rd 2009 for teachers on communal harmony.
- An Intercollegiate level 2 days work-shop on –‘Communal harmony through Education’ was held for students on Sept 24th & 25th 2009
- Coaching classes for K.A.S & I.A.S have been started on October 20th 2009.
- Celebrated Deepavali with the inmates of Balasamrakshana Kendra, Kuttara Padavu
- Students of Journalism Course visited the printing plant of Deccan Herald & Prajavani at Baikampady on 27th Sept 2009
